All Appy Reunion – Brisbane.

On Saturday 27th February, Martin ‘Dutchy’ Holland got a great bunch of people from Brat-land together, (some with their lovely ladies) at the Transcontinental Hotel (the Trans) in Roma St Brisbane for their annual get together.

They came from far and wide, there were a lot of blokes who Appied at Wagga and also some fine refined gentlemen who Appied in Melbourne, most whom did their time at Laverton but some also from the RAAF’s Air B&B at Frognall.

In total, 138 ex-Brats made the decision to get together, to enjoy each other’s company, to enjoy a meal, a few cold ones and to rekindle old friendships.

A great turn out.

For those that are not familiar with Australia’s greatest city, the Trans is at the top end of Roma St in Brisbane city, opposite to where a multi-storied hotel, car park and bus terminal once stood and where Brisbane’s first underground railway station will eventually be operational.

Site for the Brisbane underground.
